My father gave me my first sip of beer to try when I was 9, on a hot summer day during a neighborhood BBQ. I will remember that beer forever  -------------------------->



Although this beer has sadly been discontinued, I've been fascinated by this wonderful beverage ever since. So many styles, so much history, so rich in culture.

When I moved to NYC I found a job at a craft beer bar that expected us to know pretty much everything about every beer that they served. I was introduced to a plethora of knowledge that ended up becoming a career path for me. I started studying the art of fermentation, the vast history behind food and beverage and how it shapes the world. That's where my passion for food came from, and where it continues to grow. I love pairing beer with food, cooking with beer, brewing, drinking it, and enjoying. It survived prohibition, only to carve a future for me, and many others like me.
